Visible Thinking workshop

Guides, museum tutors and workshop tutors at the Van Gogh Museum attended a Visible Thinking workshop which presented specific methods and resources for stimulating and intensifying the act of looking at art.

Visible thinking is an approach to encouraging curiosity, insight and creativity, developed by researchers at Harvard University. Although the methods and resources are primarily intended for schools, they have also proved highly successful in the museum context. The Van Gogh Museum has incorporated some of these methods and resources in a number of its tours and workshops.
